Hi, I’m Ricardo.

I’m a Shopify developer and frontend engineer based in Guatemala City. I build custom Shopify themes, high-converting landing pages, professional portfolio websites, custom CRMs, SaaS platforms, and Stripe payment integrations — both inside and outside Shopify (subscriptions, custom checkouts, marketplaces). DESCRIPTION

RichOffX Capital is a full-stack prop trading ecosystem I built end-to-end — landing page, internal CRM dashboard with admin + user panels, and a customer-facing trading terminal. Three connected surfaces, one product.

The goal was to ship something that felt like a serious prop firm, not a freelancer demo. The landing converts cold visitors into paying members with tiered plans, performance metrics, risk disclaimers, and a Stripe-powered checkout for instant subscription start. The CRM is split into two panels: an admin panel where the ops team manages trader accounts, evaluation phases, payouts, KYC pipeline and Stripe billing events with role-based access; and a user panel where each trader sees their own progress, billing history, evaluation status, and account details. The terminal gives customers live charts, an order panel, open positions, and a watchlist that mirror the look-and-feel of pro prop-firm tools.

Built with Astro + TypeScript + Tailwind + GSAP on the frontend for tight performance and animation control. Prisma + REST APIs on the backend with custom queries. Deployed on Vercel with edge functions for fast global access. Stripe integrated end-to-end for subscriptions, recurring billing, and payment events; performance verification via MyFXBook API.

The hardest part wasn't any single surface — it was making three different UI paradigms feel like the same product. Shared design tokens, consistent typography, role-aware navigation, and a brand system that scales from a sales page to a real-time trading view.

High-conversion sales funnel for the brand: hero with credibility hook, performance metrics, tiered membership plans, social proof, and risk disclaimers. Plans flow into a Stripe-powered checkout that activates the subscription and creates the trader account in one step.

02 — CRM (Admin + User)

DESCRIPTION

A bilingual Shopify store for a pet-subscription business in Guatemala. Custom subscription flows powered by Appstle, with dynamic plan options that adjust to the pet's size and dietary needs.

Built custom Shopify sections and subscription logic from scratch. Configured local payment methods (covering Guatemalan gateways), delivery rules per region, and bilingual architecture (ES/EN) using Shopify's native multi-language structure. Mobile-first layouts throughout, optimized product pages and on-page SEO to push conversions higher.

The brand voice is playful and warm — the UI matches that tone with custom illustrations, soft palettes, and zero friction in the subscription checkout. The hardest part was making subscription billing feel as simple as one-time purchases for a non-tech-savvy audience.

DESCRIPTION

A two-part Shopify project for a project management training company: a custom course catalog with filters, plus reusable course landing-page templates that the marketing team edits without code.

The catalog turns the storefront into a structured browsing experience. Users filter courses by category, subcategory, and title using custom JavaScript on top of Shopify Liquid. The landing-page templates are built in PageFly so the marketing team can spin up new course pages in minutes, with consistent sections for course details, benefits, FAQs, and CTAs.

The goal was to translate dense training content into clear paths-to-purchase. Categories let users self-segment; landing-page templates ensure every new course launch looks polished and converts. Mobile-first responsive throughout, aligned with the Coordinate.mx brand system.

DESCRIPTION

An informational website for a non-profit organization that wanted online presence beyond social media. Responsive, user-centered, and SEO-friendly so the right people can actually find them on Google.

Delivered: a contact form wired to EmailJS so submissions go straight to the team's inbox without any backend infrastructure; a donation button to support fundraising; an image gallery showcasing community activities; and SEO structure tuned for Google visibility. The site is fully responsive — most of the audience visits from mobile.

The build had to stay simple and maintenance-free for a small team without a developer on staff. Hosted on GitHub Pages with EmailJS, so there's nothing for them to manage long-term — content updates go through the repo with a clear README.

A fully customized Shopify store for an art-supply brand. Worked independently to install and customize the theme, restructure collections, improve mobile UX, and overhaul SEO — plus ongoing maintenance as the catalog grows across multiple art brands.

Delivered: theme installation and code-level customization to match Moonstone's brand; edited Liquid templates, CSS, and layout components for usability and design; managed product catalogs, collections, and variants across multiple art brands; responsive improvements and UI adjustments for a better mobile experience; on-page SEO structure tuned for search visibility and organic traffic.

Ongoing maintenance is part of the engagement — new products, collections, and performance improvements ship continuously. The store now highlights products clearly and creates a smooth browsing experience for creative customers across devices.
